Since I leave Paris at the crack of dawn on Saturday, I doubt that I’ll be posting much until I get home. I want to cram as much into my last few days as I can.
I have many more reviews to write and many more places I’ve been … Saint-Sulpice, Palais Tokyo, Tertre Square (where I had my portrait done), my new French haircut, cinema museum, Museum of Modern Art, some great restaurants to share, more wonderful shopping. And of course, a story about another wonderful French waiter in at Bistro a La Tour Eiffel. (I will write the review soon, Thibault!)
Wish me Bonne Journée! I am both happy to be coming home and so sad to be leaving right now. I will be wolfing down as much gelato and pain au chocolat as humanly possible in the next few days.
ooh-la-la……can’t wait to see you and your new haircut : )
Years ago I tried to sneak like 5 pain au chocolat on the plane thinking I could enjoy them when I got home. Unfortunately I ate them all on the flight!! Your blog has been a lovely reminder about my trips to Paris. What a wonderful experience you must have had living abroad – it’s a dream of mine that I hope to make a reality in the near future!
LMAO, Stacey! I bought 2 pain au chocolat for the last two days I was in Paris, and I felt bad because I wolfed them both down within four hours. But 5 tops that for sure; I’m impressed! Though it’s not like you could distract yourself much from their deliciousness if you were on a plane.
Yes, it was a wonderful experience that I hope to repeat someday, a long-held dream that I finally made come true. I hope that same happens for you soon. All the best!
