I’ve foregone writing down all the directions to everywhere before I leave the apartment. I check it on Google maps, then snap a photo with my phone. This allows me to blow up the street easily instead of pulling out a map and my glasses. There’s also a nifty app called Paris Metro that helps you figure out which station changes you need to make HOWEVER it doesn’t help you figure out which station you need. And as far as which way to take the Metro, you have to consult the map in the app. Still handy to have, though, and it works without wifi, which as I’ve mentioned often, is spotty and not easy to find here.  It should be noted that Google Maps does have some errors on street names.  Or maybe Paris does, ha!
